I have a bitch that just delivered 4 days ago, and her stools are super soft and they STINK!!!!! Can I do anything for her? She does not usually mess in the house, but she has been poopin on my rugs and linoleum. The smell is horrible, and Im having a hard time getting it out of my carpet. Should I try pumpkin or what? Thank you

When my girls have had similar instances, it has either been due to coccidia or giardia and meds are needed to clear it up.

If she had pups 4 days ago I would say she had a few placentas along the way! They can really give the bitch soft , yucky stool. Pumpkin would be great for her, if you are really worried take a stool sample in to the Vet but not her unless you think she is sick. You don't want her dragging some junk home to the pups. Congrats on the babies and good luck with momma!

She is healthy, pups are healthy but the stool is disgusting. I will try pumpkin. Its not coccidia or giardia
