I really hate to continue the "silver" debate but.....
since the LRC has the statement regarding silvers not being purebred Labradors on their website, can they not petition to AKC to stop registering them as chocolate or register them with the X as the Doberman people do so they cannot be bred?
Is there an LRC board member on here that can address this issue?

How would you "police" this? Will we have to send in photos w/ each litter or have someone come to inspect that litter before registration will be accepted? I don't think the silvers will quit registering them as chocolate.
