Well last year Hurricane Irene devestated our area. Our show site under 10 feet of water. Well the flood waters have receeded and the town fathers have come thru and cleared the area-- no erosion, no torn up show area-- just a great site overlooking a little river that became a torrent and the back drop of the White Mountains

Yes the Carroll County Kennel Club is back and holding it shows on September 8th and 9th. Unfortunately some people are spreading false rumors that we were not holding our shows-- nothing is further from the truth. We are alive and well.

Supporting both days is Pawcatuck River Labrador Retriever Club. It will be Bare Bones on Saturday and lots of trophies on Sunday.

Judges are Bob Ennis on Saturday. Bob has judged many supported entries and also the Pioneer Valley Specialty a few years ago. Sunday's judge is Sally Sasser. They had actually judged the specialty together which is quite a coincidence to have them together again.

In the past I have offered for lab fanciers a chance to help with rosettes for the first of each class and get a little ad in the catalog at the same time. Since it is too many to list in a premium, the catalog will carry your name, your kennel name and a short line like "in memory of.." All this for $20. Regular ads can be bought and you should contact me privately for that. The premium has it listed as Friends of Labradors.
