My seven year old was just diagnosed with a herniated disc (confirmed by x-rays). She presented with sudden screaming while lying quietly on the floor and progressed to wobbly, sidewinding movement in her rear legs. Vet has her on pred and muscle relaxants and said to keep her quiet. I've owned Labs for over thirty years and this is a first. Anyone have any experience with this? TIA.
