We've been using food grade diatomaceous earth (DE), it is awesome, however it also kills "good bugs" so we keep it away from anything flowering. It's amazing how quickly it starts to take care of the flys.
I use Deo-Lotion ...it is made with 100 % natural ingredients. I buy the contentrate and make a 1:7 solution. I spray myself and my dogs before we go on our walks....it is safe and smells great too !!
