This is the second season in a row that my bitch did not move from starting her season into standing heat. She lightened up but after two weeks completely stopped. My stud dog was never interested. Last time she had a full blown false pregnancy. What do you think?

Do Progesterone tests to find out what is going on.
This way you'll know if she has an LH surge and ovulates at 5 or over. She could have had a split heat but without laboratory progesterone testing you'll remain clueless as to what is really going on. You can't rely on your stud dog even if you have in the past. Every cycle and season can be different.
Most owners of stud dogs want the bitch owners testing for good reason, it benefits everyone.
