Apple Cider Vinegar

Can someone give me the layman's version of why adding ACV to a dog's diet is beneficial?

I gave it to a rescue puppy who arrived with fleas. One teaspoon to 12 oz of water. It worked! I don't give it on a regular basis though.

If you use it, be sure it has the 'Mother' in it. It's not pretty but it's healthier when the Mother is in it.

You will only find anecdotal claims, no scientific proof that it does anything except wear away enamel on teeth.
