I know pups can vary per litter and even per line, but how much are you feeding a 12 week old puppy/day......on average. I usually free feed my puppies up to a point before moving to measured meals/day. Have a little piggy here who is eating me out of house and home. He is not fat at all but eating tons. They are on RC Medium Starter.

It does vary as you mentioned. At this age I have already transitioned to RC Maxi puppy and feed around 4 cups. After a few days see how the pup looks and how firm the stool is and adjust as appropriate.

Getting ready to switch to Maxi Puppy, usually do it by about 12 weeks. Yesterday he ate 6 cups and this seems to be about his average. He is not fat at all and stool seems fine. This is a larger amount than normal for me! He does not seem to be engorging himself or overeating, which I usually start worrying about once they reach this age.
