I have a question.
I have a family with a 6 month old lab pup in the Babylon, NY (Sufflok County). They just finished a 6 week obed. course with the pup and wanted to sign up for the next session but were told by the trainer that they had to have the pup neutered before going any further. IF they didnt have him neutered asap the pup would get aggressive and run a way. I do not know the name of the trainer but would love to give them some names of good trainers who know how to actually train a dog. If anyone has any names they want to pass to me they can send them to my email address. Thannk you for all that reply.

Your people should, by mail or in person, give the trainer a print of http://www.naiaonline.org/pdfs/LongTermHealthEffectsOfSpayNeuterInDogs.pdf Tell the trainer the class was good and they would gladly continue but they can not in good conscience neuter their dog, knowing the negative effects of neutering at an early age. This is an opportunity to educate someone.
