Heart Clearance Question - We all know screening for hereditary issues is paramount, regardless of the breed of dog.
The average cost of a cardiologist is $400 - $450.
My question is would you rather a pay $100 for an echo/Dopplar done by a vet that is recognized by ofa. OR. Pay $200 for a cardiologist to do the echo/colour Dopplar?

I would much rather see an echo performed by an actual cardiologist than a "practitioner" or "specialist", and will happily pay more for it.

I pay less than $200 at health clinics to have my dogs tested by Cardiologist via echo w/color doppler. It's not exclusive to find a clinic as other breed clubs offer them as well.
