I have always heard that large litters whelp a little early, do they ever go longer than 63 days?

I have had four litters of eleven puppies from two different bitches, and all four litters were on day 62-63. We also had a litter of ten, and they were born on day 63. It can vary a little with each dog, but we have always been right on.
