climatizing

One of our past dogs is back to stay with us for a month. She is very much a pampered air conditioned house pet. Our dogs are all used to spending time outside and are climatized to the heat. This poor thing is going to die of heat stroke in an afternoon of playing with our fur-kids. Any ideas on how to climatize her to our weather without killing her? It's mid 70's - low 80's here, and will stay at that for the duration of her month long visit here.

Re: climatizing

Sounds like perfect temps. If you have plenty of shade and lots of water, she should be OK.

Re: climatizing

She may start blowing her coat which is probably heavier from being in the a/c all the time. Just keep brushing...
