I know many people get their news from facebook these days. But for those who may not know, Claire White Peterson and Stonecrest Labs lost a very special dog on Thursday, July 11 -- Ch. Stonecrest's Davy Crockett WC. Davy was a very special dog and loved by so many people. He was a typy, beautiful dog who finished his championship before the age of 18 months. He has sired a number of lovely offspring and has helped improve many chocolate lines.

My deepest condolences to Claire & Bill on their lose. God speed, Davy.

When Claire and Davy were in the ring they were like an old married couple who knew one another's moves without fail, and they always looked perfect together. You could tell how much Claire loved Davy and that Davy adored Claire. He never took his eyes off her, and his tail was always wagging. Theirs was a special bond for sure.

Davy will be missed.

Sorry to hear of another one of those very special boys crossing over. He was always a beauty, more even in his old age. He will leave that hole in your heart for a while and then all the great memories come back. He will always be near.
