One of my pet owners has contacted me about her girl. Quick history, the dog ingested pillow stuffing and ended up with two surgeries at Tufts, the first was not aggressive enough and ended up back there with part of her intestine now necrotic. Surgery was completed and she is back to her old self. Except for one thing. She leaks urine.

Apparently this is relatively frequent and happens while she sleeps, poor girl wakes up in a puddle. Any thoughts? I am assuming muscles were cut during surgery, but anything she can do now? Anyway to build muscles?

Any and all thoughts on how to help the girl would be appreciated.

Not sure you can - consult with specialist? Wonder if a drug like Proin would help with the leakage though. Had a girl on it for almost 14 years - she leaked due to an early spay (before I knew better). I played around with the original dosage so she only took about an 1/8 of what the vet initially recommended.
