Housing For SPRING 2012

Hi!

I am studying abroad FALL of 2011 and I need housing for SPRING of 2012 when I come back my budget is 500 but if I really like the place I'm willing to go up.

Please email me if you have any availability! Close to campus is of course preferred.

Thanks!
Vivian

Re: Housing For SPRING 2012

Hi Vivian,

Assuming everything pulls together for me to study abroad next Spring 2012, I will be looking for someone to sublet my room in the Helenes House (1290 W. 29th St., at the corner of 29th and Ellendale).

No need to be a Helene to live there. Just means you'll be living with 6 other girls who love giving back to the community :)

You'd be getting a single room for $725 a month, before utilities (which is usually an extra $50 or so). The bathroom is shared with only one other girl, and it's connected to the room. There is a single common room in the middle with a kitchen attached. I don't know if you've done much looking around but this is a really good price for a single room so close to campus. I'm currently living in Century and pay the same amount for a shared room that is significantly smaller.

You're welcome to take a look, if you're interested. I've only actually been there a few times myself so maybe we could go over together.

Feel free to contact me with other questions.

Re: Housing For SPRING 2012

Hi again,

Sorry for causing confusion but I called our land lord to double check the rent and it turns out it's $785/month.

Didn't want to give you wrong information.

Hope you're having a nice first day back from break!
