I am wondering if there are any online mentorship sites. I am struggling in my faith and would like someone to talk to and develope a friendship with that is in a neuteral position and will not judge me t badly .

Heidi, I'm not sure what you mean by mentorship sites. When we're struggling with our faith, the best thing to do is Bible study, since "faith comes by hearing...the word of God".

I would suggest that you go to http://www.wbschool.org/ and sign up for the free Bible lessons. You will be assigned a "study helper", who will send you the lessons, grade your answers, and help you to work through whatever questions you have about your faith.

The lessons are taken from scripture and will help you see our loving God's overall plan for our lives and what He expects from us. It's not the "study helper's" job to be judgemental. She just tries to show what God has said about any subject. He's the one who will judge us in the end.

Of course, you are also welcome to post questions here. If we can help you come up with Biblical answers, we will.

Donna thank you for your reply. I guess a mentor might not be exactly what I am looking for to be honest I am not sure but Miss Mary has been e-mailing me and me her. I am already looking foreward to her next e-mail

I think this is the most wonderful message board that I have ever taken part in. How encouraging it is when you get on here and see responses from your sisters from The Lords Church, whom you know has like faith. We welcome you to pray with us and join our special little sisterhood in the Lord. Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who can read your thoughts and not scold or judge you, but look at you through the eyes of Christ.You will find out this is a wonderful group of bible knowledgable ladies,even though I don't know them, I do through their written words.Welcome!
