Hi everyone, I know I haven't been here much, I got a job working for our church and I have been busy, busy. I read here though and pray for you ladies as you have prayed for me so many times.

Now about Easter, our church is trying to figure out how to bring in people for our Easter services (one early morning outside service and one later inside service plus an Easter egg hunt). Two questions: first, what creative things does your church and churches around you do to bring people in? Second, what special thing does your church do that makes Easter Sunday different from every other Sunday?

We are in the brainstorming stage right now and I'm looking for any ideas you may have. Thanks so much!

I don't know if anybody has answered you by email. If not, it may be because most of our congregations don't do much, if anything, to make Easter different from other Sundays. We remember the Lord's death and His resurrection every Sunday as we commune with Him in the Lord's supper. That's the only thing He instituted as a remembrance. We don't find any example of the early Christians observing one Sunday above another, so we don't do it, either.

I guess the short answer is, most of us don't have much to offer in the way of ideas for Easter.
