McCurdy gelding for sale in Oregon !

Looking for a ready to ride, fit, honest, well trained, smooth gaited gelding? McCurdy's Cadillac Jack is a 4 yr old registered McCurdy Plantation horse (also 3/4 Tennessee Walker) 14.2H with excellent bone, straight legs and tough feet. I have lots of photos of him being ridden by riders 5'6 and 5'7 He is black, bleaches out to a dark bay color in the summer.
He is owned by his breeder, been professionally trained, very easy to ride, not hot or crazy, he neck reins, will walk slow or fast, nice gaiting and a super nice canter. Will stand quietly, used to dogs, going out by himself or in big groups, fine bareback, used to traffic. He's in great shape, being ridden several days a week on rugged mountain trails--recently completed a slow, sensible 30 mile endurance ride with great vet scores before, during and after. Camps great tied to the trailer for the weekend, throw the rope over his back and he loads himself into the trailer, used to clipping, bathing, great for farrier. Ready for fun trail riding/camping NOW, no need for more training, tuneups, conditioning or attitude adjustments, just a nice young horse and an honest seller/breeder who wants to see him in a permanent home where he can be a wonderful credit to his breed. $4000 Lots of photos available, located in Canby, OR 503-263-4488
