Got a phone call last night from a friend (orchid society) who mentioned at the last meeting one of the members (Al) said that he'd been feeding a golden retriever who wandered on his property w/out collar
Apparently, the golden was filthy, malnourished, looked to be a beautiful dog .... the golden left and came back with a collar and had been tied by the neck & leg with rope so it was walking like a crab! She was very upset but wanted to make sure to let me know. Al fed the golden, took off the rope and was going to take it to SPCA but it got away! I was so sad to hear that someone could do that to an animal, any animal! I am going to call Al today and see if the golden wandered back onto his property and see if I can help! Please send out good vibes our way to see if we can save this poor baby!
