I imported a pup. If I show him in AKC shows, do I only have to scramble to get his registration done if he takes points or is it if he takes ANY ribbon? It has been a long time since I dealt with imports........TIA

BTW, I will only go through all the paperwork if he passes early prelims, that is why I am not rushing registration straight away...........
