FDA warns that one must avoid chicken jerky products from China. I know that even Whole Foods was selling Chinese Chicken Treats for dogs, but you really had to look hard to find that the product was from China. Dingo also has Chinese products sometimes. A Labrador I know seemed to have been sickened by those from Whole Foods in the last year or so. Of course, I and others lost little dogs to Chinese product/ tainted foods in 2007.
My dog almost died from a Liver infection in 2007and was in the hospital for a week. The Vet wasn't sure what had caused it. I had given him the jerky treats from Costco and NuVet. I never used the products again not knowing what had caused it.
