Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

My condolences on your difficult loss. There will be a special dog bed waiting for her at the Bridge.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Beth I'm so sorry for your loss....believe it or not I was just talking about your Lily yesterday. I was saying how lucky you were to have Lily for over 17 years. (my oldest Labrador was 16 1/2) Look at all the wonderful people and Labradors you met as your journey began with her. You were BOTH lucky to have one another. How wonderful to look all around you and see her legacy snoozing about your feet. Godspeed sweet Lily....

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Hi Beth!
I am very sorry for the lost of your old girl. She was your companion for a very long life even if our experience is always that their life is too short.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Sorry to hear. My girl goes back to a full sibling from a previous litter. What a lovely pedigree. I bet she was a love to live with for so many years.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

I am so sorry Beth. Lily was a really special girl and you couldn't help but admire her for reaching an age so many of us wish they all could make, she really had a way of getting attention, her head butts were especially effective :) Her longevity speaks volumes about the love and care you gave her,and the ends to which you spoiled her so. My deepest condolences to you and Bob.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

I am sorry for your loss Beth... Lily sounds like she had a great long life with you.
And how wonderful that you can look all around you and always see her there.
Godspeed Lily.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Your girl's longevity takes my breathe away. Oh how luscious to share a life with a dog for so many years, far longer than the average human marriage, long enough that she could have graduated from high school if she were a child. She must have left a mark on your heart that will always be with you.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Beth,
So sorry for the loss of your special girl. It is never easy to say goodbye; I agree with Tiffany's comment - she was loved and given the best care/home any dog could ask for.... she had a wonderful life with you!!!

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Wow! Seventeen plus years, how fortunate you are to have a wonderful girl for such a long, rich life! God Bless!

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

My deepest condolences on your loss. It's always much too soon....no matter how long we've shared their love.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

A long and wonderful life. Lily has left the world of the living, but has left you such a legacy. I'm very sorry for your loss. Godspeed Lily.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Beth, I'm so sorry for your loss -- but what a long, wonderful life she spent with you. You were indeed fortunate to have her for such a long time. Godspeed dear Lily and RIP.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Beth I'm so sorry to hear of Lily's crossing over th bridge. My hugs are being sent your way.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

So sorry for your loss, but what a blessing to have had her for so long and to have generations of her soundness to work from...

Diane's dogs are well noted for the longevity, I've had some of those bloodlines, too. Not had any in the 17 year range, but many in the 15-16 year range. Still above average for the breed.

Rest well old girl.

Best,

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

I'm so sorry, Beth. 17 3/4 years is good, long life, though, and I'm sure she spent every day enjoying being cherished by you & your family. RIP & Godspeed Lily.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Beth, you and your family obviously gave Lily stellar care and love in her long lifetime. I'm sure she gave you back the same amount of love in those 17 3/4 years. Leaving 4 generations is what every breeder would want from a special girl and you have that from Lily, how lucky you are. RIP and Godspeed Lily.

I'm sure she'll be watching over all of you that loved and cared for her all of those years. Condolences to Diane Pulbin also for a beautiful breeding & allowing you to have a special puppy that lived for almost 18 years.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

I'm sorry to read of Lily's passing, Beth. What a blessing for you and your family to have shared a remarkable 17 3/4 years with your beloved girl though. You're fortunate to have shared so many wonderful memories with Lily during her long lifetime. May all of her offspring lead equally long and happy lives.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

So sorry to hear about Lily's passing Beth. I remember you having her pose with "Mouse" (the cardboard cutout) at last years specialty show. Goodspeed Lily. Remember all those great years you had with her.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley

Heartfelt condolences on the loss of such a Grand Old Dam. 17 years plus with you is a very long life that so many others can only hope for with ours. You lived your life here well Lily and Godspeed to your new one. She left you a great legacy. Until you meet again, be pain free and joyous Lilly.

Re: Chucklebrook Lily of the Valley
