The current issue of Family Dog, meant largely for the pet person, has some good articles to point out to puppy people. One is on the pros and cons of early spay/neuter. Another is on indoor winter training, so that the dog obeys when a pill is dropped or visitors come to the door. The article is up beat and to the point. Another focuses on neuro issues, including EIC in the pet.

Thank you so much for sharing. When my friend told me that the Gazette was going away I was bummed. While this publication is missing a lot of great breeder information, it does have some good information just the same.

The AKC Gazette is still in digital form. You can download it, for a few months at a time in pdf format. I, too, miss the glossy, bound print version.
