Yellow studs

I wish there were some yellow studs in the spotlight ads!

Re: Yellow studs

If you are on Face Book, there is a group call Labrador Retriever Stud Dogs. Lots and lots of gorgeous yellow boys from around the world. Most don't post where they are from, but if you click on the poster's name, most of the time it will say on their page.

It's free to post your dog on Face Book.

Re: Yellow studs

Labradata has a stud finder app that will let you search by a lot of criteria including color.

Re: Yellow studs

LabraData shows you the clearances!

Re: Yellow studs

The stud finder also lists all male dogs in the database, whether they are "at stud" on their profile or not. So you have to wade through all the deceased, neutered, and otherwise unavailable dogs to see the few that are actually available "at stud"

Re: Yellow studs

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You are partially correct. Dogs marked as "deceased" never did display unless they also had "frozen semen" marked. Only dogs with "at stud" or "frozen available" were intended to be in the listing. We left it open to all dogs for awhile to give owners time to update their dog's listing. We switched that over in the "test" database last April. Unfortunately (our bad) we failed to switch to only marked stud dogs in the production database. That has now been done. If your stud dog suddenly disappeared from the search results, you need to update his listing.

LabraData exists to serve the Labrador community. It depends on participation to provide those services. No matter how sophisticated a search the system can process, it can only search the data that has been submitted. Please visit the database and make sure information for your dogs is up to date.
