Anyone have room to foster/ help fund a 6 yr old choco boy who may be pulled from a NY kill shelter? Owner surrender, personal problems, great with people, healthy, slight gingivitis, and callous on elbows. Lunged at 1 dog while there since Tuesday.. Temperament? Shelter mentality? Do shelters ever ask where/who the dog came from when they are turned in? Do they even ask the owners if they have AKC papers or try to obtain them?

This boy is microchipped and that option was pursued already as far as I know.
