When they maintain a proper growth rate on two reasonable meals. Some of my puppies go to two meals a day quite early - 10-12 weeks. Others much later. I let the pup lead me. If they get picky about any meals, I cut the third one out.

I switch to 2 meals at 4 months.

We let the puppy tell us. When they leave part of the middle meal we shift to two meals a day and divide the total that they were eating in the three meals into two equal portions.

Lucky you, Greg!!! My pups would probably wolf down five meals a day, given half the chance! Generally, we do three meals from 9 weeks to 6 months, then on to 2 meals until one year of age. If I relied on my pups, they'd be on four meals until they step on the rainbow bridge!!!
