The cardiologist we usually use for our health clinic is not available. Anyone have suggestions for cardiologist who might be willing to travel to Orange County, New York? Auscultations and echos needed.

I thought you just had your health clinic yesterday?

Yes, JSLRC had a wonderful Winter Health Clinic in Blairstown, NJ yesterday. And, now, our plans are almost complete for our annual Spring Health Clinic in Newburgh, NY. So, if anyone missed us yesterday, or needs services for other dogs, keep watching the JSLRC website for info about our Spring Clinic on Sunday, April 28th.

Karen said the cardiologist normally used wasn't available. Maybe it was for that clinic. I don't know, I don't live near there.

I use a vet over 3 hours from me becuz his placement is that great. I don't do any just auscultations. All echoes for girl or boy, especially at clinic price. Dunno why the girls are given so much less in clearances by some. Aren't females just as worthy?

I just heard of TVD pups in a litter. Mum had auscultation, Pops had no cardiac clearances. That was plain stupid! Now they're gonna echo both, 'bout time............I'm just sayin'.

I like Jonathan C. Goodwin, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology). he is at garden state in Tinton falls. He gave me a decent rate when I did Dougal's echo. Never know unless you ask.......
