A local Golden club is holding a health clinic in a few weeks and is offering Echo/Dopplers. We don't often get those in Canada. We do have a handful of board certified cardio vets but most don't do clinics or see enough 'normal dogs'. I feel better having the girls hearts seen by someone who sees many healthy hearts, not just issues at Referral Clinics. I have been told that Dr. Aarone Wey from Upstate Veterinary Specialist in Latham NY is doing the cardio work. If anyone here has used him, I would appreciate hearing. This will save me driving into the US to have a heart clearance done, the health clinic upcoming is an hour away.
Kim: I believe I have had Aron at the Balston Spa shows clinic, or maybe the one in CT. He had a partner named Dr. Sedaka, who was willing to travel north for clinics. I found them both very nice and spent lots of time on my dogs and explained every photo, etc, during the echo's. This was a few years ago.
