We have been using Kiran and family fonts for over 10 years for various purposes. It has been a wonderful tool for writing Marathi, Hindi and Sanskrit. We just have a suggestion : can you bring out a version where the numerals are in Roman style? That helps in accounting and quotations etc. where people are used to using English number format.

The best part of your site being the conversion part ,(as I mainly

Today after downloading Kiran fonts along with keyboard layout, I typed the matter offline with Kiran font and then copied and pasted in maayboli. But it was pasted in roman script and not in devnagari. Pl let me know what is to be done so as cope will remain in devnagari. Ravindra

Thank you very much for sending me kf-kiran font(Devnagari Font) along with Key-board Leyout. Some of my
freinds are unable to read english. This font will very much helpful
for me to send them emails in Marathi. Also some local bodies like Municipal Corporation and Z.P. accept any type of application in Marathi only and they make all the correspondense in Marathi.
Now I can make print out inMarathi with this font. Thank you once again. Keep it up.

तुम्ही छान फ़ॉट तयार केला आहे पण मी तो वापरत नाही कारण मी मंत्रालयात काम करतो व तेथे ISM Office 3.04 जे C-DACने तयार केले आहे ते वापरावे लागते. मी आपल्या dynamic फ़ॉट च्या संकेतस्थळावर गेलो परंतु dynamic फ़ॉंट दिसले पण बरोबर दिसले नाहीत. मी Windows XP SP2 व त्यातील IE6 वापरत आहे. काही ठिकाणी जास्त जागा काही ठिकाणी कमी जागा अशा स्वरूपात अक्षरे दिसत होती. म्हणजे थोडक्यात ते appealing वाटले नाही. याचे कारण काय ते सांगावे ही विनंती.

This is just to tell you that my 74 year old aai is benefiting from Kiran font now. when she was here, i taught her to use email and i guided her over the phone in downloading kiran font. now i can email her in marathi. thanks very much for the work you have done for this.

You need to type x after you type 'k' or 'f' to have proper spacing. This is because of the nature of appearance of these characters.
For other combinations, Kindly go through the Special Instructions Section of the keyboard layout document file provided in the zip file entirely.
