Never had to use the egg crate foam. Do you just put it in the bottom of whelping box and still cover with towels or sheet. Lighter weight towels ? How much do you cover foam crate piece? Small litter, keeping mother away more. Other ideas, I am open.

Well I just had a young dog not pass her cerf.

I know there's an old adage about the sex of pups in a litter, has something to do with timing of breeding etc.

Age to send pups home?
What age do most of you send your pups home? I'm hearing anywhere from 7 weeks up to 12-14 weeks.
I have been sending mine home at 8 weeks but I keep the 2 or 3 that I may be running on much longer.
Do most of keep your PQ pups longer than 8 weeks?
